The Unliving Place

A path into the holy mountain Elehura leads to this strange monochromatic place. It is home to the divine dragon Tatyakori, and according to them, this place is also the source of the water that covers the living world. In the deep past, Tatyakori found their way from a dry planet of rock and dust into the Unliving Place. They awoken something within the triangular tower at the center, causing water to begin pouring from various fountains. Over millions of years, this river’s output transformed the world outside into a vibrant living one.

The material that the Unliving Place is composed of is naturally indestructible, requiring powerful magic to quarry and reshape. The difficulty did not deter the dragon’s creative spirit, and over time they made alterations in the Unliving Place to record various events and ideas.
Two major additions are memorials to the events of Sheshai the Purifier (seen in the previous post) and of the ancient individuals Pagol of the gwil and Muchi of the pritar. The picture above is of that latter memorial. The bridge represents the crucial alliance that formed between the gwil and pritar people, which started with these two individuals. The two were also early masters of healing and elemental magic.

Shrine in the Unliving Place

There is a shrine located in the Unliving Place hidden within the holy mountain of Elehura, built to commemorate the deeds of Sheshai the Purifier. The individual in the picture is not Sheshai herself, but a sort of ‘spiritual echo’ to represent the hero in a place of honor.
This scene is based on the original drawing of the character that would eventually become Sheshai:

Lukaud and Yezukh’ay

I created a little photo for the Sharpheart page so these important characters get a mention there.

Crinos Kylal

Crinos Kylal is the daughter of the current leader of the Seven-Star Nation, Tessalus Kylal. Though she spent most of her young life hidden from public view (usually stuck in a book in the library), she has recently taken up a more public role, showing great potential for leadership during stressful political events that were beginning to overwhelm her mother.
It’s been a bit of time since an Agwilika Rhe character update. Here was the previous version of Crinos’s face:

Elehura Title Update

I created an updated title to put in Elehura’s page. I also replaced an old image of Tatyakori with a version cropped from the cosmic shrine scene.

Serii Shrine of Elehura

Located within the holy mountain of Elehura, the Serii Shrine contains an effigy of Pagol, a healer from ancient times and representative of divine grace for the gwil people. Tatyakori, the divine dragon and steward of the living world, stands upon the stage shaped as Pagol’s tail, appearing to be confronting the viewer. The four-pointed sun symbol as seen in the roof opening is the sigil of Tatyakori and what lies hidden deeper within the holy mountain.

Site tuneup
Well, this site had been using the 2011 WordPress theme all this time. I decided to actually attempt to update it to the 2025 theme. One new feature is that images can be clicked on and they do a zoom effect instead of opening in a new tab.

Elektrobold

Sparky looked at the yellow-toned robold and asked, “What’s with the paint job?”
He looked a little closer and growled, “and what’s with the boob job?!”
He spoke up to get the attention of the other robolds in the room, “All right, who’s been making unauthorized modifications here?”
The other robolds showed some concern and maybe a little fear.
In the back, a hand rose.
Sparky’s irritation instantly disappeared. “Oh, Elektra! This is the robold you were planning to make? All right, all right. Wow, you built them fast. I guess the creative spark captured you.”
Elektra nodded and walked up beside the new arrival. While giving their ‘bold a pat on the head, she replied, “I’m calling them Elektrobold, or Ellie for short.”
Ellie giggled, indicating they loved the name.
Elektra continued, “I wanted mine to reflect my feminine form more. For some reason I didn’t find the need to alter the hips…”
Sparky nervously answered, “Uhhhhh, that was to give them a lower center of gravity and room for more power storage. Also a bit of a reference to suyens…”
Elektra scoffed and disingenuously answered, “Sure thing, champ.” -
Sha Rephart Island Social District Center

…And now there’s something more substantial at the center of the social district. The hexagon contains a winding pathway downward to the center structure. Underneath that center structure are stairways that go all the way down to the Voidplane level, allowing access to what will probably be a mirrored structure on the reverse side of the island.
The center structure is based on the monument found in the Golden Pyramid.
